Brad Keselowski and his Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing team had an eventful day at the NASCAR All-Star race at Dover. The boss finished top 10, but the other two cars ended in DNF, having a bitter-sweet outing for RFK Racing.

Following the conclusion of the race, Keselowski spoke to the media about the race where he finished 10th but encountered an unfortunate crash in the second segment.

"Yeah, Adventure made a mistake there in the 2nd segment," Keselowski said. "I had some contact with the one car and crashed myself, crashed him, and then we tried to dig out of the hole but the car was a little torn up and just kind of fought to the 10th place finish from there."

Ross Chastain and Brad Keselowski made contact on Lap 6. Chastain went spinning and Keselowski had to drive his No. 6 back to pit road.

Following this, the #6 driver shed light on the qualifying, and the chaos that unfolded during the race, which took out several cars from the race, including both RFK cars. Here's what he further added:

"Yeah, with the qualifying format being the way it is, it really mixed the field up. On top of that, the inversion at the end of segment 1, it just mixed the field up and that created chaos."

When asked to sum up the entire race, Keselowski said: "Oh, I'm going to need to sleep on that and digest that one. A lot happened today."

Notably, Keselowski's statement comes after both Ryan Preece and Chris Buescher's day came to an end in two wrecks, which took out several cars including theirs.

In Lap 2 of the race, Preece made contact with Todd Gilliland, while trying to go ahead in a three wide situation. However, Preece clipped Gilliland at Turn 1, and hit the outside wall, and his car burst into flames.

The wreck resulted in a chain reaction which took out the likes of Kyle Larson, and Ryan Blaney among others. As for Buescher, he got wrecked in the final lap of the race, and incurred significant damage to continue the race.

RFK driver Ryan Preece shared his thoughts after NASCAR All-Star race

Following the conclusion of the NASCAR All-Star race, Ryan Preece shared his thoughts as he spoke about the wreck he got involved in. Speaking to the media in the post-race interview, he said:

"I’m fine. I seem to take big hits. I don’t know what happened. But if it was anything, it was probably just too close on my part to go into Turn 1 and just got sideways. So I’ll have a better idea here. Can’t really see it (watching replay).

"Yeah, it didn’t really show us there. So, yeah, I mean, if it was my fault, I’m sorry. So, yeah, tough way to not finish a race on lap one. So yeah, just move on to Charlotte.”

With two cars failing to finish the race, it would not impact Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing much given it was a non-championship race. It will be interesting to see how they fare when NASCAR moves to Charlotte next week.
