Kyle Busch's sudden demise on Thursday left the entire Motorsports world in deep shock. The NASCAR driver, who was celebrating his son's birthday a couple of days before that, had a sudden emergency and eventually passed away, leaving his fans shattered.

A statement from the Busch family stated that the NASCAR icon had a "severe illness." No other details were revealed. However, on Friday, Fox News obtained and shared the 911 audio, which revealed that Kyle Busch was coughing up blood and struggling to breathe while lying down on a bathroom floor.

Critical care expert Nick Mark took to his X account to quote-tweet FOX Sports' recent post, where the broadcaster shared the heartbreaking audio of Busch's final moments caught on a 911 recorder.

He wrote, "Shortness of breath, hemoptysis, and near syncope after a recent illness/immobility sounds like a massive PE," with PE referring to Pulmonary Embolism.

.Going by the recently surfaced audio of Busch's final moments, one can understand that the Richard Childress Racing driver went through a similar situation before he breathed his last. But his situation got critical after the RCR driver fell ill while he was training in the racing simulator at the Chevrolet facility in Concord, North Carolina.

It was at the time when the two-time Cup Series champion collapsed and became unresponsive. After the emergency call, Busch was taken to the hospital in Charlotte, where he passed away on Thursday afternoon.

The Audio of Kyle Busch's Final Moments

As per the audio that Fox News shared, a person who was with Kyle Busch at the time of the emergency made a 911 call to report the situation and seek immediate help.

"Can I get an ambulance to come to set ****** W, Concord, North Carolina? I’ve got an individual that’s complained of shortness of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out, and he’s producing a little bit of blood, coughing up some blood. He is awake. He’s awake. He’s on the bathroom floor right now.” the caller told dispatchers.

Busch was immediately taken to the hospital, but passed away a few hours later. The celebrated NASCAR driver with two Cup Series titles was 41.

Following his death, the entire Motorsports world mourned his loss. Richard Childress Racing, the team he was driving for, decided to keep the No. 8 away from racing until his son, Brexton Busch, gets promoted to the NASCAR Cup Series.
