Charles Leclerc has spent the better part of a decade establishing himself as one of Ferrari's most important assets, both on the track and off it. Now the team's senior partner following Lewis Hamilton's arrival, and locked in on a long-term contract, questions about his earnings have followed him into the 2026 season. 

While his performances, and now his comments on the Hamilton incident, dominate headlines, his financial standing has also become a talking point among fans heading into the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. 

Here's a breakdown of his salary, bonus, and net worth as per the reports shared by F1 Salaries on their website as of June 9th 2026. 

Base Salary

F1 Salaries reports Leclerc earns a base salary of $36 million in 2026, with on-track earnings potentially rising to $52 million with bonuses.

 It comes after he agreed to a contract extension before the Monaco Grand Prix, with a progressive salary structure eventually reaching $58 million per year through 2030 and beyond. 

Bonus 

Leclerc's deal, reportedly worth $34 million per year through 2030, is said to include a $16 million signing bonus. With bonuses for wins, podiums, and championship results, total on-track compensation can reportedly climb to $52 million in strong seasons. 

It is worth noting that none of these figures have been confirmed by Ferrari or Leclerc. 

Net Worth

The Net worth figure is something that keeps varying from media outlet to media outlet. However, as reported by F1 Salaries, Leclerc’s estimated Net Worth is around $50-125 million. 

Most of his wealth is attributed to his Ferrari contract, with sponsorships and ventures adding on top. 

Sponsorships and Business ventures 

Charles Leclerc has endorsed 15 brands spanning drinks, footwear, retail, and wearable tech, including Puma, Peroni, Richard Mille, and Riva. In the fall of 2020, the No. 16 driver also became a brand ambassador for Giorgio Armani for their " Made to Measure" collection.

Furthermore, his deal with Richard Mille, which dates back to his junior category days, reportedly earns Leclerc $6.3 million and $12.7 million annually.  

His Peroni 0.0% partnership, part of a wider $13 million-a-year Ferrari sponsorship deal, made him the brand's first global ambassador in 2024. His Puma sponsorship earns him an estimated $1.3-3.5 million per year.

In June 2024, Charles Leclerc also launched his business venture: LEC, an ice cream brand he co-founded alongside Federico Grom and Guido Martinetti. 

His salary may trail F1's longest-serving veterans, but between his Ferrari deal, bonuses, and endorsements, Charles Leclerc remains one of the sport's most valuable names heading into Madrid.
