Corey Day's win at the AG-Pro 300 was made sweeter with Super Bowl Champion Jason Kelce in his pit crew. And following the race, Day wants Kelce back.

Speaking about it, Day said, "I am going to try and get him to come to a couple more because it seems like he is a good luck charm for me.”

Unlike most celebrity appearances, this one didn't have too much media hype. Instead, Jason Kelce was seen performing pit crew duties for the No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports team at the race weekend, working as a sign holder.

In a post-race interaction, Corey Day expressed delight in having him over in the pit crew and elaborated on Kelce coming to practice and learning the nuances of being a pit crew member.

“Super cool to have him, he's been a fan of the sport for a very long time, so cool to have the 17 team kick in behind the scenes this weekend. He came to pit practice a couple of Tuesdays ago with me and my team, and they kinda showed him, he did the jack, he did the tire change, and refuel."

When Day won the race, Kelce was right in the middle of the action, watching him do burnouts and later joining Day in the Victory Lane with the rest of the Hendrick Motorsports team. The moment was a natural fit for Kelce, who has spent his retirement exploring various sports roles.

Corey Day capitalized on a late-race opening to secure the win. Sam Mayer was fiercely battling to maintain his lead, but in a dramatic turn of events, he spun out while trying to fend off a determined charge from behind.

This incident triggered a separate multiple-car pileup at turns 3-4, resulting in a caution lap, which ended the race early just as Day placed himself ahead of the pack. He was declared the official winner, while Brent Crews and Sheldon Creed took the second and third spots, respectively.

This maiden win also came on a venue where he didn’t think he would win, given how unpredictable racing at superspeedways can be.

"I sure as heck didn't think it would be at a superspeedway. My 17 guys just built a rocket ship. I feel like we've been close, had a good day at Rockingham, and had a couple other good days, and just didn't finish it off, so this is super cool.”
