The announcement comes after the success of F1 75 Live at the O2 in London in 2025, which was broadcast across 37 global territories and drew 7.5 million viewers, as per the report from corp.formula1.com.
Milan also gives the event a strong connection to Italian motorsport. The city is close to Monza, the historic venue that hosts the Italian Grand Prix and has been part of Formula 1 since its early years.
F1 has also confirmed that fans will be able to see the sport’s drivers and Team Principals at F1 The Show, with further activities to be announced by F1 in the coming months.
With the event now set for Milan, F1 is also focusing on what it wants fans to take away from the three-day experience.
F1 Live Milan aims to give fans a closer and more immersive experience
Formula 1 is looking to make F1 Live Milan more than just a pre-season event, with President and CEO Stefano Domenicali highlighting the sport’s ambition to bring fans closer to the action and make them feel truly immersed in the F1 experience.
“We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it. It is an important part of our ongoing ambition to bring Formula 1 closer to fans than ever before,” Stefano Domenicali said in the same report on corp.formula1.com.
He also highlighted F1’s wider goal of creating experiences that allow fans to see their heroes up close and feel the energy and emotion of the sport.
The event shows F1’s continued effort to connect with fans around the world, while giving supporters a more personal way to experience the sport and its atmosphere.
