Corey Heim walked away with the win at Rockingham Speedway, but the storm down at Toyota camp has just begun. It seemed like Kaden Honeycutt could have gone all the way after marginally taking a lead, but his teammate Tanner Gray proved to cost him a 1st place finish.

The incident took place in the final few laps of the race when Honeycutt and Heim crossed the white flag. After crossing the white flag, it was Honeycutt who led the race. However, Tanner Gray, his teammate, was running a lap down, unintentionally blocked him, leading to Heim taking the advantage.

After the race, while talking to Frontstretch, Gray expressed his point of view on the incident. He spoke about how he had the intention of letting the #11 car of Honeycutt by turns 3 and 4, but failed to do so.

“I had no intentions of hurting the 11 or helping the 1," said Gray. "I was just trying to get out of the way so they can race it out, but this place is tough; it's narrow, there's not a lot of places to get out of the way."

Brad Keselowski took to Twitter to express his opinion about the situation. He wrote, “Lap traffic in truck series.”

“Tanner Gray needs to be fired for that,” a comment read. Another fan echoed a similar sentiment, writing “Kaden would have cleared him and won if it weren’t for the 15…”

While another Twitter user pointed out Gray’s stats over the years. He wrote, “And in 7 years in the same equipment, Tanner Gray has 0 wins and 0 playoff appearances."

Another fan commented, “That was ridiculous. I would’ve sent him into the turn one wall so fast after the flag. No f***s given.”

Another comment read, “How does a teammate not just let them race it out, insane?”
