Brad Keselowski may not have impressed fans with his racing at Pocono, but he surely impressed them with his broadcasting skills.

His appearance on Prime Video's coverage drew praise from the community as he provided unique technical and strategic analysis that was absent from prior broadcasts.

The Prime Video coverage that Keselowski joined after the race centered around how Christopher Bell needed to save fuel, who ended up 26th in the race.

And rather than just saying it, Keselowski explained how a driver actually accomplishes it through a combination of throttle control, lifting points into corners, drafting techniques, while also balancing lap time against fuel consumption.

Fans liked this aspect so much that some even suggested he take commentary as a full-time job.

What impressed them the most was how Keselowski focused on the technicals. Take, for example, how he broke down Christopher Bell's fuel-mileage strategy using the network's proprietary Burn Bar technology. Plus, what was appreciated the most was how Keselowski put this simply in front of fans.

This is especially for tracks like Pocono that are difficult from a fuel-management perspective and involve a lot of technicalities due to all three corners being different. To put that simply, many fans appreciated his efforts.

The analysis from Keselowski also carried extra weight because of his own reputation. Keselowski himself is known to be a smart driver and has chosen his fuel strategy quite keenly throughout his career. Even though this exact metric did not quite favor him in Pocono, fans felt they were hearing insights directly from someone who had executed those same techniques at the highest level.

Combined with his calm demeanor, fans got access to some of the most technical knowledge relating to fuel conservation at a track where such insights hold great value. That too was so simple that none of us had to be accustomed to esoteric language. This immediately drew praise from across the NASCAR world.

Fans already see a broadcasting career waiting for Keselowski

Keselowski's analysis was so good that many fans rallied behind the idea of him setting up a broadcasting future. One fan wrote, “Brad, whenever you decide to quit racing, you’re going to make a great commentator. Elite coverage. We fans need more of this.”

Another added, “This was excellent and fascinating. Thank you. I was there at the stage for your pre-race segment. You were fabulous!”

Others were also quick to point out how natural this felt despite Keselowski being an active racer.

“Yeah dude. Ya prolly got a good job once ya hang it up!” one fan commented. Another joked, “You’re almost too good at it! No glaze . Just sayin!”

This reaction by fans showcases exactly what they missed, as one fan put it: “Gotta say I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a driver interview another driver he was just competing against.”

This exact uniqueness is what all of us loved and was probably the reason behind many fans suggesting that the former Cup champion can also look at broadcasting as a viable future.
