Fans Fear Kyle Busch's Mid Season RCR Exit After Bristol Fallout

Kyle Busch finished 25th at Bristol Motor Speedway. The result extends his winless streak to 101 races. A heated radio argument between his crew chief and spotter signals a growing rift at Richard Childress Racing.
After another frustrating finish, the #8 Chevrolet driver is now 101 races without a win, as he finished 25th on one of his strongest tracks. While he was spun out by Riley Herbst on lap 313, and he gave it back to Herbst with four laps to go, discussions around Busch’s race will be more about his team radio than the RCR Chevrolet’s on-track performance.
Things in the #8 garage seem to be on a downward spiral, with frustrations from the lack of performance and a best finish of 12th this season at COTA spilling over onto team radio.
Crew chief Jim Pohlman and spotter Derek Kneeland had a heated discussion, all while Busch maintained perfect radio silence.
Busch, dealing with a loose race car, couldn’t get it into the corner. Pohlman snapped as to why the adjustments weren’t working. “What is the frickin’ problem now? Is the thing sideways, or is it plowing? What the f*** does it look like!?”
Kneeland attempted to calm the situation, urging the team to refocus and reset for the second half of the race.
Pohlman said, “Yeah, I copy. It’s the same s*** every week.”
Fans Want Busch Out of RCR Immediately
Busch is a two-time champion and had one of the most dominant stints in NASCAR, and yet today he finds himself without a win in 100 races at the age of 40.
Fans still believe he has the winning spirit within, but they can see he has no confidence in the car.
“Please…..for the love of God, get @KyleBusch the f*** out of that RCR nightmare! He needs & deserves so much more than he’s getting!” read one comment on X.
While Busch’s contract runs till the end of this season, fans want him out immediately. One fan wrote, “At this point, if I was Kyle, I would go to Childress today, and say I’m done and just retire I hate seeing legends struggle. RCR is a total s***show.”
While most comments were similar, one fan correctly pointed out that Busch’s replacement at Joe Gibbs Racing ended up taking the race win. “And his old ride won the race to boot,” wrote the fan.
What do you think will be Kyle Busch’s next move after the first 8 races?
