Motorsports fans are yet to get over the fact that Kyle Busch is no longer alive. With his passing, the two-time Cup Series champion left a long-lasting legacy and records for everyone to remember. However, their certain behavior after his demise left Tony Stewart disappointed, as he went on to share the reason.

Stewart recently shared his thoughts on Busch after his demise with NHRA content creator Noah on X on Friday. There, he exposed the hypocritical nature of fans after his passing.

"It's probably the biggest thing of this tragedy that's p***** me off the most is that now everybody wants to talk about how he was as a person," Stewart said. "Outside of that, all they wanted to do was just judge what they saw on TV."

Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart raced together in NASCAR for 13 years from 2004 to 2016. Stewart was already racing in the Cup Series before Busch's arrival, and they raced together till the former retired at the end of 2016. This is why Stewart knew Busch for the person he was beyond the driver.

"So it's frustrating. I mean, that's the way every one of us are judged by what they see on TV. And then once you die, then they want to talk about how good a person you were. So that's the part that p***** me off the most about it right now," Stewart further added.

Stewart is frustrated because he was not speaking just like a distant fan. Having raced with Busch for over a decade and even being his teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing in the 2008 season, Stewart saw the side of Busch many fans didn't.

Many only saw his on-track aggressive persona and formed their opinions of him based just on that.

Besides being a talented racing driver, Kyle Busch was also a supportive father who stood like a rock beside his son, Brexton Busch, throughout his young career.

Apart from this, the late driver also collaborated with his wife, Samantha, and started the Bundle of Joy charity fund, something that the latter vows to carry forward.

Over the years, the Busch couple worked actively to help the financially weak couples battle infertility. As per reports, the charity raised nearly $2.4 million to help 111 babies come into the world.

When Tony Stewart paid a tribute to Kyle Busch

Following Kyle Busch's saddening demise, Tony Stewart paid tribute to the late driver with a touching post. Taking to his official X account, Smoke wrote on Rowdy:

"Kyle Busch was a fierce competitor. He was strong-willed, confident not only in his ability behind the wheel, but in his opinions. He held his own and didn't mince words.

"Early on, we didn't always see eye to eye, but in 2008, he became my teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing… and he was a great teammate. He pushed me to be better, and we always had respect for one another. It was easy to see that Kyle was going to be a future champion."

Busch suffered from severe pneumonia, which rapidly progressed into sepsis, and passed away on May 21 in Charlotte, days before the Charlotte Motor Speedway race weekend.

He passed away at the age of 41 and is survived by his wife, Samantha Busch, and two kids, Brexton and Lennix.
