Kyle Busch did what he does best and picked up another NASCAR Truck Series race win on Friday at Dover Motor Speedway. With the victory, Busch put fellow Cup Series rivals Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, and Carson Hocevar in the backseat.

The Richard Childress Racing Cup driver, who jumped on the Spire Motorsports truck for the Ecosave 200, led 147 out of 200 laps to take the victory ahead of former series champion Ty Majeski.

Among the Cup rivals, Chastian was his closest contender, having led 49 laps. But Busch, who is often spectacular in the Truck Series and also at Dover's 'Monster Mile', once again proved to be the best driver here, recording his fifth Truck win and 13th overall at the track.

Moreover, the 3.039-second victory over the ThorSport Racing driver marked the 69th win of Busch's career, and his second win in four races. When asked why these moments never get old, Busch replied, "You never know when the last one is."

"I know all too well, unfortunately, with the Cup stuff, but here with the Truck stuff now, it’s awesome to be part of Spire Motorsports. I’m sure it looked great out front, leading the race." And he added with a grin, "It wasn’t just Kyle Larson doing it. Feels good to have another Kyle able to do it and put ourselves in Victory Lane. Love coming to Dover, always one of my favorite places to race."

All three of his Cup rivals in the race didn't improve over their starting positions. Kyle Busch aced the fuel save in the final stint, overtook Chastain with 57 laps to go, and brought it home from there.

"Definitely some managing of the fuel there, managing the tires there. It was an interesting strategic battle, I guess, from the driver’s seat. Thanks to the fans and all the people for being here. All in all, takes a lot of great people behind you and with you. It’s fun, and I want to keep doing it," Busch further added.

Layne Riggs of Front Row Motorsports came home in third, while last year's winner at this track, Kaden Honeycutt, finished in fourth. Cup Series driver, Christopher Bell, wrapped up the top five. Brandon Jones, Christian Eckes, Corey LaJoie, Jake Garcia, and Justin Haley wrapped up the top 10.

With that said, none of the top Cup Series drivers managed to match Kyle Busch at Dover.

Even the second-best Cup driver had an 'uneventful' race behind Kyle Busch

Besides Kyle Busch, the other Cup drivers had a Truck race to forget on Friday. Joe Gibbs Racing star, Christopher Bell, started his race from fifth place and came home in the same position, and was no match to Busch, who started on pole.

"Yeah, I mean it was pretty uneventful," Bell told Frontstretch post-race. "Just kind of maintained, qualified fifth, raced fifth. I don't know, I thought after practice we were going to be really good and then it just kind of never materialised in the race."

Trackhouse Racing driver Ross Chastain fared no better. He started eighth and led 49 laps, but after having to pit with 20 laps to go, he eventually finished 18th.

Carson Hocevar, the newest first-time race winner in the Cup Series (Talladega), started his race from 18th place but crossed the finish line in 31st place. A total of 36 drivers participated in the race, and Kyle Busch clocked 48 fastest laps on the day.

With that said, it will be interesting to see how Busch performs on Sunday in the Cup Series, as he seeks a win and erases his 105-race winless streak.
