NASCAR fans continue to process the untimely demise of Kyle Busch, one of the winningest drivers in the sport. Recently, his death certificate has surfaced, providing insight into the driver's final days. 

On May 21, ‘Rowdy,’ as he was fondly known among the fans, passed away. On May 23, the Busch family put out a statement citing "pneumonia which progressed into sepsis" as the cause of death. 

According to the death certificate obtained by Us Weekly, it revealed that Busch suffered from pneumonia, which he had “days or weeks before”. 

Busch later suffered from hemorrhagic shock, which led to his passing.

The call made before the two-time champion being hospitalized backs this up. According to the 911 call made, Busch was “coughing up blood.”

Before this, during the race at Watkins Glen, Kyle Busch asked for a ‘shot’ to be administered to him. The broadcast had later revealed that he had been experiencing a sinus infection. 

According to the death certificate, Busch was cremated in Mooresville, North Carolina. Kyle ‘Rowdy’ Busch is survived by his wife, Samantha, and his two children, Brexton and Lennix.

The late two-time champion's sudden passing left the whole NASCAR world in shock. But it has also prompted fans to put their differences aside and come together in solidarity to remember the late driver. 

Legacy.com put out an obituary for the driver, which summarized Busch’s two-decade-long career. It included a guest book section where many fans shared their memories and stories about the driver. Others signed with Busch’s number in the Cup and Truck series.

Kyle Busch has left behind not just memories but his legacy in the sport, claiming 234 wins across all three divisions. He also held the record for most wins in the truck series at 69 wins. His last win was at Dover Motor Speedway.
