Weather, entry lists, and odds

No hindrance from the weather should be expected for the weekend. Friday seems to be chillier, with low clouds, good visibility, and a high of 77 degrees. Saturday would be partly cloudy with a high of 75 degrees. Sunday transitions to be a bit warmer. When the Cup Series race would go around the track, the temperatures could be around 82 degrees.

The Cup Series listing has 36 cars, ensuring that no team is missing this entry. With the O’Reilly listing at 38 cars and ARCA at 23 cars. The entry that stands out remains to be the one of Austin Hill's No. 33 RCR Chevrolet. Connor Zilisch's No 88 trackhouse Chervorlet is also another headline, while the O’Reilly race adds Cup crossovers Zilisch, Shane van Gisbergen, and Ross Chastain.

The latest Cup odds by FOX Sports show van Gisbergen as the heavy favorite at -150, followed by Tyler Reddick and Zilisch at +750. Kyle Larson and Ryan Blaney follow this up at +1200.

Whatever you do, it is quintessential that you catch this race either online, through the radio, or in person, as the championship tightens up. Sonoma promises to be a great spectacle for racers and fans alike.
