NASCAR team boss reveals Dana White 'changed his life' with one single advice
NASCAR team boss Chris Rice received a life lesson from an unexpected source, and it was Dana White, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Rice, who himself is the CEO of Kaulig Racing, revealed how the advice changed his life for good.
"Dana White changed my life, changed my life about the social media, changed my life, changed our life at Kaulig Racing about it," Rice said on the Door Bumper Clear podcast. "And you're right. And what's so funny is, he was right."
White and Rice share a close relationship. They recently teamed up to launch the high-stakes NASCAR Reality competition, RAM: Race for the Seat. It was an eight-part documentary that chose one of the full-time drivers for Kaulig's No. 14 Xfinity Series entry.

"Everything Dana White said was correct. He says, you're going to have those haters out there. Don't listen to the noise. Don't read the noise. Do the things that people love," Rice further added on the Door Bumper Clear podcast.
White was the executive producer of the show and was one of the backbones alongside Chris Rice, Kaulig Racing owner Matt Kaulig, and RAM CEO Tim Kuniskis. The show was a success among stock car race fans, as Timothy "Mini" Tyrrell won the competition.
As for Rice, he took charge of Kaulig as its CEO last year. Ahead of this season, he struck a deal with RAM for the Truck Series as the GM-backed brand returned to the sport after a long hiatus.
Kaulig Racing welcomes veteran racer at Lime Rock
Former Sports car, Le Mans, and IndyCar driver Colin Braun will return to drive Kaulig's No. 25 Truck under RAM's Free Agent Driver Program. He will be in charge on July 11 at Lime Rock Park for the Truck Series race.
"Racing at Lime Rock Park feels special because of its deep history and pure road course challenge,” Braun said via KauligRacing.com. “It’s exciting to see the Truck Series compete here and add another chapter to this track’s legacy. I enjoyed racing with the Kaulig team in St. Petersburg and look forward to joining them again. We’re going there to compete for the win."
Braun comes with an elite Motorsports resume, as he has three WeatherTech SportsCar Championship titles, four Rolex 24 at Daytona wins, and a GTP class win. Braun's last race in the Truck Series was at St. Petersburg, driving the same RAM No. 25 Truck.
Braun will drive the Truck that grabbed everyone's attention this season. Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray, Ty Dillon, Corey LaJoie, Travis Pastrana, Parker Kligerman, Clint Bowyer, AJ Allmendinger, Carson Ferguson, and Ryan Newman all lined up to race with the No. 25 Truck.
