Denny Hamlin is often known for his witty takes and responses on social media. The Joe Gibbs Racing star, who is on a roll in the Cup Series now, does not leave a chance to show his humor, something he recently pulled off on X against an infamous fan.

A popular NASCAR fan account, @whatsundersteer, known for its outspoken views on the sport, recently shared its opinion on Amazon Prime and its broadcast quality, comparing it to FOX. Sharing an example of the same, he wrote on X:

"As I’ve said repeatedly, @SportsonPrime broadcast is the EXACT SAME AS FOX. Go to this guy’s profile, and you’ll see he’s the lead broadcast engineer for @NASCARONFOX, @SportsonPrime, and @NASCARonUSA."

Following this, he went on to shed light on how fans and experts hold two different opinions regarding Amazon and FOX. "Shows how corrupt NASCAR media is when they sing praise for @SportsonPrime," he further wrote on X.

Responding to it, Hamlin wrote, "I know you get this a-lot, but your an absolute m****."

Notably, Hamlin's response comes amid the intricate rift between fans over Amazon and FOX's broadcasting qualities. FOX often receives criticism over its poor broadcasting quality, extensive commercials, and poor viewing experience.

On the other hand, Amazon relies on limited commercials and greater scheduling flexibility, and has been lately garnering praise for its coverage.

However, there are fans who share different opinions, such as the fan on X. While the debate is on about who delivers better viewership between Amazon and FOX, Hamlin and the fan's interaction grabbed people's attention.

Fans react as Denny Hamlin responded to fan's reply

Taking to his X account, a fan wrote, "Without digging into his history…I would imagine he's a believer in the conspiracy that NASCAR and Hamlin have a post-Trial agreement to allow them to skirt the rules this season."

Another fan wrote, "Prime is simply better. Fox is behind the curve, constant missed wrecks or lead changes, outdated hosts that are bootstrapped by whatever fox tells them to say. Excited for TNT. Which IS ran by similar team from prime."

"I have other choice words for this loon Denny. Fan of NASCAR for over 4 decades, Prime is a game changer that other networks can’t do. Like when NBC stopped with 3 to go so, the viewers could watch ice skating. Over on Peacock, we could see the end. NOT!" wrote another fan.

Another fan wrote, "That’s probably the nicest way you could have put that Denny lol."

Such responses from fans or Denny Hamlin are not rare on X, and one shouldn't be surprised to see more of it coming from him in the future.
