During the recently concluded NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race, the BetRivers 200, Rajah Caruth and Jesse Love made contact. As a result, both drivers faced significant damage, which brought their races to a disappointing end. Following the conclusion of the race, Caruth, however, admitted his fault in the clash.

"It was tight, but it's up to me to control the car," Caruth told the media when asked about the incident with Love. "We're all racing hard, and yeah, it's up to me to control the car. And obviously, sorry to those guys. I just didn't think I'd get that loose into the corner there."

Halfway through the race, Caruth and Love tangled, and this was the third time the two drivers were involved in clashes this season. However, the most significant incident was at Martinsville, which erupted as both drivers declined to back down, triggering a massive controversy.

Caruth and Love led the field on a final-stage restart when Caruth’s No. 88 pushed up from the inside lane and made contact with Love’s No. 2. Love’s crew chief, Danny Stockman, responded over the radio by saying, “Got Rajah’d, huh?”

Love’s car suffered significant damage from the hit. Caruth later found himself in another incident after being caught three-wide and drifting up the track into Harrison Burton.

"I was late dive there, and like I said, it's still my responsibility there to control the car," Caruth further added on the clash. "But yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting to get put three wide there that late in the straightaway, for sure. But we shouldn't have been back there in the first place. I obviously took us out of a race-winning, potentially day and track position there with earlier in the day."

However, the clash did not end there, as Caruth and Love were the leaders in the final stage of the Dover race, but then they collided again. As a result, Love took significant damage and lost places.

Caruth, on the other hand, was involved in another incident with Harrison Burton and ended his race in jeopardy. In the end, he came home in 14th place, while Love finished the race in 23rd place.

The latest confrontation appears to have strained their relationship even more.

Rajah Caruth Addresses Relationship With Jesse Love After Repeated Incidents

Coming into the 2026 season, Caruth and Jesse Love had three on-track incidents. First at Martinsville, followed by another one at Rockingham, and the latest one at Dover. It is clear that the duo shares a relationship far from amicable.

"I'm not sure, I've said sorry a lot, and I don't know what, I don't know how to handle that," Caruth said in the same interview, about the dynamic of the relationship with Love. "Cuz I've been in the wrong, obviously, the last two times. And it hasn't been anything on purpose. It's just, man, I'm racing for my life out here. Nothing's guaranteed. I don't know what my future holds."

After 14 races, Jesse Love is in third place in the Drivers' Standings with 502 points. He has five top fives and nine top 10s to his name. Rajah Caruth fell to 14th place with 338 points despite having a good start to the season. Caruth has a top five and four top 10s under his belt.
