There seems to be no stopping Tyler Reddick, who took the top spot at the 2026 AdventHealth 400 at Kansas. This is Reddick’s fifth win of the ongoing Cup season. With this, he now shares a record with Dale Earnhardt Sr., becoming the first driver after him to win five out of the first nine races of a season since 1987.

The battle was very closely fought. Denny Hamlin won the first stage and also led the most laps (131), while Kyle Larson won the second stage.

For the most part, the race was incident-free. With just two laps to go, it looked like Hamlin would claim his second win of the season, especially with Reddick finding himself out of fuel. However, Cody Ware spun out at Turn 4 and brought on the first caution of the day.

All the top contenders rolled into the pits during caution and went for two tyres. Hamlin was the first to get back on track, but soon slipped to fourth in traffic. Larson surged past and appeared set to register his first win in 32 races.

However, Reddick moved swiftly past him from the bottom of the corner to Claityrestory with a margin of just 0.118 seconds. Chase Briscoe, who started from eleventh after the restart, was on all fresh tires and chased down the competition, eventually settling at third.

At the moment, the points table for the 2026 Cup Series season has yet to be updated.

Tyler Reddick Reflected On His Fifth Win Of The Season

As the No.45 team celebrated the victory, Jamie Little caught up with Reddick on the sidelines. While clearly elated about the win, the driver also expressed remorse for contact with Christopher Bell during the final restart, but he was also thankful for the late caution that gave him fresher tyres and fuel.

" I couldn't believe it. First off, I feel like I have to say just how I feel, and I never like being on the other side of it. I really hate that for Christopher Bell. It's good hard racing. I took off tight. I’m not thrilled I got Christopher there. I hate that for him because he was having a good, solid day.

It's just that these late race restarts get really crazy. I obviously had a run on the five, and I was shocked I was able to get to his inside. It was an incredible supply house Toyota Camry all day long. I was really thankful we got that late caution,” he concluded.

With this, the Cup Series now moves to Talladega Superspeedway, and we can expect it to be wild as always.
